Moni Thompson -- What? You thought I thought I was interesting?

No, no, no... though I do have a very interesting daughter and one fabulous husband (the loves of my life!)

I grew up in the boonies of Northern Michigan and am one of ten children. My father died before I made first grade and my mother, out of necessity, became a pillar of strength. She's been a guiding force in my life, though at times she accurately guessed I wasn't following her guidance.

I started writing in fourth grade. Stories, love poems and tragic sonnets. I won't tell you how long I've been hoping/working/trying to get published on the off chance you'll translate it to pathetic rather than determined.

Perhaps I'm both...
